Dear Vendor Friends!

For many years, the respective universities and colleges represented at previous annual conferences of
TACUP and SWACUMS have appreciated your company's expertise, valued presentations, updates and
input about equipment, products, and trends in our industry.

Our appreciation extends well beyond those items. Without your continued monetary support of
our conferences, in these budget-constrained times in our states, it would be very difficult to host a
successful event.

Last October, TCU was asked to host the 2011 conference. We proudly accepted that request.

TCU Printing Services and TCU Mailing Services will host a COMBINED Annual Conference of TACUP
(Texas Association of College & University Printers) and SWACUMS (Southwest Association of College
& University Mail Services) on October 23-25, 2011. The Conference in Cowtown will be held in the
Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. We fully expect to have 75 or more attendees from 35-40 colleges and
universities from a five state area at the event!

Several of you have requested information about the Sponsorship levels and descriptions. Listed below
is that info and other pertinent information. Please review that and let us know which level you want to
participate in. We'll send you a Vendor Registration Form/Invoice for the level you select.

Attendees and vendors can complete the appropriate registration form. Payment options are included on the form.

Platinum $2,500
  • 3 Paid Conference Registrations and Entrance to all Scheduled Evening

  • 1 Gift Bag per Attendee included with Conference Registration

  • 1 Session Presentation—Note: Must apply to TACUP/SWACUMS

  • Full page advertisement in Conference Program
  • Bio and picture for the Session Presenter

Gold $1,500
  • 2 Paid Conference Registrations and Entrance to all Scheduled Evening
    Events
  • Food for 2 Representatives during the Conference Sessions and Scheduled Evening Events
  • 2-6' Display Tables in Vendor Area
  • 1 Session Presentation—Note: Must apply to TACUP/SWACUMS Conference Theme or general industry topics (not a sales presentation!)
  • Half-page advertisement in Conference Program
  • Bio and picture for the Session Presenter
  • Company Logo Recognition on all printed/display materials and web page
Silver $750
  • 1 Paid Conference Registration and Entrance to all Scheduled Evening Events
  • Food for 1 Representative during the Conference Sessions and Scheduled Evening Events
  • 1-6' Display Tables in Vendor Are
  • Company Logo Recognition on all printed/display materials and web page

Additional conference attendees will be $275.00 each, plus their hotel expenses. Each of these
additional paid attendees registration will include food during the Conference Sessions and all
Scheduled Evening Events, plus Entrance to all Scheduled Evening Events.

In addition to the above, if your company could help us with donated items or additional funds for the
following, please indicate in your reply:

  1. Items for the Attendee Conference Duffel/Tote Bags, i.e. biker or coffee travel mugs, coozies, ball caps, golf visors, pens, note pads, mints, chocolates, other promotional items, etc.
  2. Door prizes for the "TACUP/SWACUMS Attendees' Raffle Ticket Drawing"
  3. Presentation Speaker gifts
  4. Hospitality Suite beverages and snacks (1-3 nights)

Please note that these Sponsorships above do not include the hotel expenses for your company's
representatives during the conference. Also, if you are considering bringing in a special speaker for a
Session Presentation, the travel and hotel expenses will be your company's responsibility.

Again, we sincerely appreciate your willingness to be a partner in our next TACUP/SWACUMS
Conference! We look forward to hearing from each of you soon and to seeing you in Cowtown in
October! (We also can't wait to take your money in the annual dice game!! :) )

We've sent this to vendor email addresses from the Houston and Austin conferences, as well as D/FW
area vendors who have relationships with several universities in this area.

others who may be the more appropriate person to respond or accept our invitation to participate as a
